Green Key is the international sustainability certification for businesses in the tourism and recreation sector. A Green Key certificate means that a hotel does substantially more in terms of environmental policy than required by laws and regulations. Green Key has clear guidelines in the areas of sustainable hotel and restaurant policy, gas, water and energy savings, CO2 reduction and waste separation.
