The Korte Putstraat is not called the best terrace street in the Netherlands for nothing. And if you want to return to peace and quiet for a moment, Brasserie Cé  awaits you in the hotel with a menu full of surprises and a sweeping view over the Markt.

So easy to reach

It takes little effort to get here. By car, you can park in De Tolbrug parking garage opposite the hotel at a reduced rate or use the transferium with a free bus connection. If you arrive by train, it is a short 11-minute walk from the station. The hotel can even be reached by boat – from the visitors’ marina, it is an eight-minute walk to the Markt.

Fancy taking a short stroll?

Sometimes a city’s history lies in the smallest details. Within walking distance of the hotel, you will find De Waterpoort, a remnant of the first city wall of the Den Bosch fortifications. At Herman Moerkerkplein stands a bronze sculpture group with a special story. The peeing boy Dieske – a reference to an old legend – looks out over the square, a subtle nod to the city’s rich history. He sits on a column and thus forms a small fountain. Next to the column stand a young man with a lute and a young woman smelling a flower in her hand, with a jester on the other side of the fountain. According to a folk tale from the 15th century, a little boy, while peeing into the Dieze, is said to have spotted hostile troops from Guelders and then successfully raised the alarm
